A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges goes live this Friday, May 29, when your console clock ticks past midnight. Five events, seven days to clear them, and the usual run of bonus tickets for anyone who works down the list.
If you’re new to the format, Weekly Challenges unlock once you’ve finished the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and the ending movie. Every set is four standard World Circuits races plus one Special Event, with reward tickets paid out at one, three, and five completions. Those tickets land in your Gifts and have to be redeemed before the set expires. Clear the lot with clean race bonuses and there’s somewhere around 1.3m credits in cash and prizes on the table.
This Week’s Highlights
The headline is a time trial at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, where you’ll be chasing a gold time in the Shelby G.T.350 ’65. A gold run pays 30,000cr, with the Corkscrew’s downhill plunge to negotiate on every lap.
The biggest payout, and the most involved race, is the World Touring Car 800 at Circuit de Sainte-Croix. It’s eight laps under an 800PP cap for 200,000cr, and this one runs with consumption cranked up: 6x fuel use and 4x tire wear. That’s enough to bring pit strategy into the mix, so it’s worth thinking about before you roll off the grid.
Behind it, the Ferrari Circuit Challenge sends an all-Ferrari field around Monza for five laps and 90,000cr under a 700PP cap. The American Sunday Cup 600 keeps things lighter with U.S. road cars at Grand Valley’s Highway 1 Reverse for 45,000cr. And the Jimny Cup is the quick one, just three laps of Eiger Nordwand in a Suzuki Jimny, though its 40,000cr win reward is a solid return for how fast it’s over.
