A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges goes live this Friday, May 22, as your console clock rolls past midnight. Five events, seven days to clear them, and the usual stack of bonus tickets waiting for anyone who works through the list.
For anyone new to the format, Weekly Challenges open up after you’ve finished the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and the ending movie. Each week’s set is four standard World Circuits races plus one Special Event, with reward tickets handed out at one, three, and five completions. Tickets land in your Gifts and need to be redeemed before they expire. Across the full set, there’s around 1.3m credits in cash and prizes available if you clear everything with clean race bonuses.
This Week’s Highlights
The headline this week is genuinely unusual: a Mission Challenge at Kyoto Driving Park – Miyabi where the goal is knocking over 200 pylon cones in a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, with your time logged to the leaderboards. There’s no credits to earn (aside from the bonus of completing all the events) — your reward is leaderboard placement and the satisfaction of annihilating cones in silence.
The headline payout is the World Touring Car 600 at Road Atlanta, which closes the week with five laps under a 600PP cap for 94,000cr. The Vision Gran Turismo Trophy at Tokyo Expressway – South Counterclockwise is close behind at 85,000cr over five laps. The Sunday Cup at Lago Maggiore Center is the low point of the week at 5,000cr, but two laps in a road car is also the shortest and easiest event on the docket.
None of the five events use fuel or tire consumption this week, so strategy is off the table across the board.
