This week’s new Online Time Trial keeps the Italian theme rolling. Gran Turismo 7 puts the De Tomaso Mangusta ’69 (in either its standard or Christian Dior livery) on Autodromo Nazionale Monza, running on Sports Hard tires.
The Mangusta is a Giorgetto Giugiaro design, and Giugiaro himself paid a visit to Polyphony Digital’s studios last year. It’s a fitting pick for a week that’s leaning hard on Italy, with the GT World Series round in Milan this weekend pulling the rest of the schedule with it. The Christian Dior collaboration livery is, of course, the one that arrived as part of Polyphony’s Dior partnership.
Two Continuing Events This Week
Because of the World Series special at Monza, there are two continuing events still active this week instead of the usual one. The Red Bull X2019 special tie-in with the Milan round (with the double credit bonus for bronze) runs through May 28, and the Super GT field at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve also stays live until then. Both close at the same time, and a fresh expected single new event will replace.

Accessing Online Time Trials
To access the Online Time Trials, you’ll need to unlock Sport Mode by completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe. PlayStation Plus is not required. Once an event closes, gold goes to players within 3% of the fastest time (2m credits), silver within 5% (1m credits), and bronze within 10% (250,000cr). The World Series special event continues to pay double the standard credit rate through May 28.
Events update every Thursday, with each challenge running for two weeks. The next new Time Trial arrives on May 28.
