Released earlier this year, the Simucube 3 marked the start of a new era, replacing its revered predecessor. However, previous Simucube 2 steering wheels were not compatible with the new direct-drive wheel base – until now.
Simucube has announced a new Quick Release Adapter that allows users upgrading to the latest direct-drive wheel base to keep using their current Simucube 2 wheels.

Installation requires removing the Simucube 3’s original Link Quick Release interface with included fasteners and tools. Once installed, the supplied locking pin allows you to mount Simucube 2 Quick Release steering wheels onto the new wheel base.
Since it replaces the original Link Quick Release interface, wireless data and power transfer are not supported when using the adapter, but Bluetooth data transfer is still supported.
