Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will receive another 12 months of support and paid downloadable content expansions.
Confirmed during the Summer Game Fest, before ‘Year 2’ begins, the first season pass is to be completed.
Sega showcased (briefly) gameplay of the next add-on, being Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem-themed. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo can all be selected as driveable characters to race around new tracks and to licensed music. It releases in July.
Round out the first (of six) DLCs will be Nickelodeon’s Avatar Legends in October of this year. Once again, there will be new characters, vehicles, tracks and music, with Aang and Katara featuring.

Year 2 will see the same number of packs released. The first two have been announced too. Work-in-progress footage of Godzilla and Neon Genesis Evangelion (a Japanese anime television show) can be seen in the latest trailer.
CrossWorlds was a return to the racing game genre for Sonic and was launched in September 2025.
In our 8/10 review, we called it a “worthy alternative to Mario Kart World.”
