- PMR’s GT Icons Pack DLC will include nine historic cars and one new track
- The new content will be playable at this weekend’s SimRacing Expo Charlotte
Project Motor Racing’s next DLC pack will be available to sample at this weekend’s SimRacing Expo Charlotte.
The GT Icons Pack DLC will feature several racecars from the ‘60s and ‘70s, plus a new track, and will be released for general sale on the 23rd of June 2026.
The impressive car lineup includes the bewinged Chaparral 2F, a car masterminded by legendary driver and designer Jim Hall, alongside other ‘60s favourites like the Shelby Daytona Coupe, Lola T70 Mk 3 and Ford Mk.IV.

From the ‘70s, the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0, Chevrolet Corvette C3 and Ford Capri RS3100 will also be added to the game, with all nine cars split among GT 70, Sports Car 67 and GT 60 classes.
The new track, Rocky Knoll Raceway, includes two layouts and, based on pre-release screenshots, bears a striking resemblance to Road America, which fits with PMR’s predilection for unlicensed locations.

The game’s previous DLC, the Japanese GT500 DLC, was controversially removed from sale before being reinstated as the ‘Japanese Prototypes Pack’. The embarrassing episode was apparently related to a licensing issue, and it’ll be a situation the team would like to avoid for its next DLC release.
