- Fanatec FullForce coming to CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro wheelbases
- Firmware update will be free and will launch on 16th June
Fanatec’s Vice-President and General Manager, Tobias Stelzer, has today revealed that CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro owners can look forward to a free update that introduces FullForce compatibility to their wheelbases.
FullForce is Fanatec’s proprietary force feedback protocol, which, in the company’s words, ‘fuses fidelity vibration cues with the core force feedback signal to deliver a more immersive driving experience’.

Essentially, this allows sim developers to utilise subtle physics or audio-based vibrations to enhance immersion. As well as being compatible with PC sims via the CSL DD, this update could also offer Gran Turismo 7 players a better driving experience thanks to the Gran Turismo DD Pro wheelbase’s combined PC and PlayStation compatibility.
It must be noted, however, that it’s up to game developers to implement the technology going forward, so there’s no guarantee every sim will take advantage of FullForce.
More information about the FullForce rollout will be released next week, but Stelzer confirmed the free firmware update would be released on the 16th June 2026.
Fanatec Podium pedals release date update

In other news, Fanatec’s Podium Pedals are expected to be released in Q3 2026, with quality control issues affecting the clutch pedal causing delays.
Instead, Fanatec now plans to release the Formula Podium variant, featuring two pedals, earlier than planned – 26th June.
These will ship with two free aluminium pedal plates as an apology, with both Podium pedal variants set to cost $699.99 / €699.95. A separate clutch for the Formula Podium set will be available in Q3 for €235.
Both Fanatec Podium Series pedals can be pre-ordered from Fanatec’s webshop here.
