Simagic is due to launch its new flagship steering wheels: The Zeus line of wheels will debut on May 22, 2026.
A new batch of steering wheels from Simagic is just around the corner: The manufacturer is ready to debut the Simagic Zeus line of wheels and has announced that they will be available on May 22. Three different models have been shown, with their party trick being a modular dash display.
This modular approach has first been shown at SimRacing Expo 2024, where the prototypes of the upcoming line of wheels played a central role in Simagic's presence at the event. The dash display can be mounted to and removed from a wheel easily as it's simply held in place magnetically, a feature called 'MagDock'. This also made it possible to mount it to a wheelbase instead of a wheel.
Simagic Zeus: Three Wheel Rims To Launch
Simagic's announcement showed three different wheel rims that should serve most sim racing purposes: A modern Formula-style rim for single seaters and prototypes, an open-top GT-style rim for, well, GT cars, and a round wheel for rally and classic cars appear to be on their way.
Open ecosystem compatibility is also mentioned in the announcement, implying that the wheels will be usable on third-party wheelbases without too many extra steps.
Prices remain to be announced, but with Simagic specifically mentioning "premium materials", expect them to slot in around the same price range as the FX Pro Formula Steering Wheel, which costs between €610 and €640, depending on the retailer.
