Rennsport looks set for the release of its first paid content pack, as the Endurance Classics DLC is set to hit the sim on May 21.
The most recent Rennsport update was deployed all the way back in December - the plan was to launch a new version in March already, and it was set to included the Endurance Classics DLC, which itself had been delayed from its original December release date. The March release did not happen, as the update kept getting pushed back - but it looks like it is just around the corner now.
The Steam page for the Endurance Classics DLC has gone up, and it lists a release date of May 21 for the pack, implying that there will be an update to the game as well. While no price is listed yet, its content is:
Rennsport Endurance Classics Cars
- Porsche 911 GT1 '98
- Mercedes-Benz CLK LM
- Porsche 956
- Peugeot 9X8 Evo
Fittingly, Le Mans is part of the pack as a new circuit, which we were already able to drive when visiting Rennsport in Munich back in February.
There, a new focus on singleplayer improvements was announced, as was a reduction in price for the title. This price cut was tied to the incoming update, so expect this to happen on May 21 also. The Deluxe Edition of the game will see its price reduced by 45%, and it includes the Endurance Classics DLC, as well as the Touring Classics DLC (that could see the recently announced HWA EVO.R as a modern addition) and a yet-to-be-named third DLC.
At the time of writing, a 45% discount already applies to the Deluxe Edition as part of a promo offer that lasts until May 27, according to Steam.
