After posting a teaser earlier this week, Supernova Games has confirmed Rally Greece as the latest Assetto Corsa Rally addition for update 0.5.
The sim racing community did quite a bit of detective work when the official Assetto Corsa social media profiles posted a teaser video of scan data of a stage earlier this week. Accompanied by the announcement that a new gravel rally would join the location roster in the upcoming Assetto Corsa Rally v0.5 update, sim racers - including us here at OverTake - scrambled to find out what had just been shown.
It quickly boiled down to Finland or Greece, those two being the next two rallies on the WRC calendar. And fairly quickly, it emerged that we had been seeing parts of the Loutraki stage at the famous Acropolis Rally - which is going to be the second-ever gravel location in AC Rally.
This was confirmed in another social media post on June 19, showing various cars that are already in the sim - so no spoilers about additional new content yet - on the rocky, challenging stages.
Previous updates had always introduced new cars as well - we will keep our eyes peeled for any hints!
