Nine Absent Manufacturers Named In Forza Horizon 6 Credits

Forza Horizon 6 has a strong and deeply varied list of cars, but many major manufacturers are missing from Playground Games' flagship racing title. KIA, BYD, Bugatti and plenty more are absent, but a new find in the credits of the game might give some hope to fans.

Originally discovered by user KILLER2JZ on GTPlanet, this new information suggests these brands may be coming to Forza Horizon 6 in the future, either as DLC or as free content. This is, of course, not a guarantee.

  • Bowler - Builds crazy off-road vehicles from Land Rover platforms
  • Bugatti - French hypercar manufacturer, majority owned by Croatian EV hypercar brand, Rimac.
  • BYD - Chinese EV giant
  • Hozon Auto - Chinese EV SUV specialist
  • Kia - South Korean car giant
  • Kimera - Creators of the Lancia 037 Restomod
  • Luis Rodriguez - 2018 Hot Wheels Legends 50th Anniversary Tour Winner, built the 2JetZ.
  • NILU27 - Sportscar project created by former Bugatti and Koenigsegg designer, Sasha Selipanov
  • Spyker - Dutch supercar company, last appeared in Forza Motorsport 4. The C8 was explicitly mentioned.

In the credits list, these nine car brands are credited as licensed through Microsoft. If they are not set to join the car roster list of Forza Horizon 6, then perhaps they were cut from the title late on, after the license had already been agreed on.

Brands like Bugatti, Kia and Bowler have appeared in previous iterations of the game, but are missing from Horizon 6 due to licensing issues, amongst other unlisted reasons. However, now the names and copyrights have appeared in the credits, all arrows would point to new deals being struck. With the enormous success of the title from launch, Playground Games most likely has all the bargaining chips on its side when renegotiating with these huge car companies.

Granted, this huge success does not automatically mean that all of these cars are on the way to the game, but perhaps future DLC packs will feature these missing cars. Non-controllable AI cars for races or for the cinematics are also options, albeit unlikely ones.

What do you think about these credits? Do you think we will see these nine car brands debut or return to the Horizon series? Let us know in the comments down below!
