Heusinkveld DisplayDash On-track for Spring 2026 Release

After its first public showing at Sim Formula Europe in January, the Heusinkveld DisplayDash has taken a significant step forward. What began as a functional 3D-printed prototype has now evolved into a far more polished and production-ready product, with Heusinkveld confirming a late Spring 2026 release window remains on track.

The latest iteration of DisplayDash introduces a noticeably cleaner and more refined outer shell. The housing has been redesigned with slimmer bezels, allowing for a larger screen that is said to improve visibility compared to the first iteration of the DisplayDash.

Perhaps the most notable upgrade is the move to a full aluminium body. Compared to the pre-production unit, it is certainly not a fair fight, but comparing it to the competition will put the DisplayDash in its place once Michel gets his hands on it on the OverTake YouTube channel!

Functionality Gets a Boost

Beyond the physical redesign, the Heusinkveld DisplayDash has also gained new functional capabilities. A newly introduced function layer allows multiple outputs per input, theoretically providing greater flexibility for those looking to map complex controls.

Enhanced RGB LED visibility is another key improvement, ensuring that visual feedback remains clear and immediate. Combined with the integrated touchscreen, the device aims to deliver instant context for every input, thereby eliminating the need for static labels or stickers.

Compatibility is a major focus, with full support confirmed for SimHub on PC. This ensures access to a wide ecosystem of existing dashboards and enables users to create their own custom layouts.

Inputs and Features

The DisplayDash is designed to be a central control hub:

  • 12 push rotaries
  • 4 buttons
  • A 7-way switch
  • A total of 47 inputs
  • 17 fully configurable RGB LEDs

The entire display is touchscreen-enabled, and connectivity is kept simple with a single USB connection. There is also an integrated 2-port USB hub on the rear, along with 100×100 VESA mounting support for flexible installation.

Final Testing and Public Debut Plans

The team is currently in the final validation phase, with production expected shortly thereafter. While the latest render showcases the updated design, it is worth noting that final production units will feature further improvements in both materials and finish.

If timelines hold, DisplayDash will make a public appearance at the Sim Racing Expo in Charlotte this May.

The Heusinkveld DisplayDash is expected to retail at approximately €300. Availability is currently set for Spring 2026, no precise date has been revealed.

What do you think about the Heusinkveld Display Dash? Is it something you could see on your rig, or something that will pass you by?
