Forza Horizon 6 Achievements: How To Collect 'Em All

This one is for the completionists out there. Forza Horizon 6 has just had its Steam and Xbox achievements list posted, and there is plenty of variety, with a strong core of progression-based achievements.

Forza Horizon 6 is set to launch with 57 individual achievements, worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore. These achievements are obtainable on the Xbox and Steam versions of the game and encourage you to earn new Wristbands at the Horizon Festival and Stamps for your Collection Journal as the core spine of the hunt.

Despite the exact run-through to unlock all these achievements not being locked in yet, we have come up with a plan you can follow, either strictly or loosely, to make getting 100% completion on Forza Horizon 6 as efficient as possible.

Phase 1: Intro & Early Progression

For your first phase, a lot of these achievements will be completed within your first couple of hours. These unlock core systems and come naturally at the start of your playthrough. Hunting these are not necessary, just play the game and get used to how the game plays and the cars handle!

  • Welcome To Japan (Opening Act)
  • Working 9 to 5 (first Job)
  • Just Getting Started (first Touge Battle)
  • First of Many (first Qualifier)
  • Welcome To Horizon (Yellow Wristband)
  • Festival Fan (Green Wristband)
  • Making Waves (Blue Wristband)

Phase 2: Core Progression (Wristbands)

Focus on advancing through the Festival tiers for this second phase. This phase is all about getting your account through the wristband process and moving through the story mode.

  • What, Like It's Hard? (Pink Wristband)
  • Orange You Glad You Made It? (Orange Wristband)
  • In The Spotlight (Purple Wristband)
  • Horizon Legend (Gold Wristband)

Phase 3: Exploration & Map Completion

For phase 3, work on these while travelling between events. Exploration naturally feeds progression and credits, so simply playing the game in a thorough manner will begin placing these achievements in your path after a while.

  • Racking Up The Miles (discover all regions)
  • The Horizon Cartographer (reveal full map)
  • Pin It! (discover landmarks)
  • Smashscot / Gotta Smash 'em All (mascots)
  • A Few Splinters Is Nothing! (bonus boards)

Phase 4: Collection & Ownership

As your experience begins to build in Forza Horizon 6, and your credits increase, start building up your garage. Do not sell any cars unless absolutely necessary. The 'Collector' achievement could be really difficult at the end of the game if you are struggling for good garage numbers.

  • First Love (buy a car from Autoshow)
  • Bargain Hunt (buy an Aftermarket car)
  • A Fine Addition To My Collection (Treasure Car)
  • Treasure Hunter (9 Treasure Cars)
  • Collector (100 cars)
  • Blank Slate (buy house)

Phase 5: Event-Based Achievements

Integrate these into your normal gameplay. A lot of achievement hunters make the whole playing experience about the achievements. We want to encourage you to enjoy playing the game first and foremost, so these can all be achieved simply by racing and completing in-game goals.

  • On The Board (win first race)
  • Racing Aficionado (win 57 races)
  • Even Playing Field (Spec racing)
  • Fresh Tire Smoke (Drag Meet)
  • White Ghost (Touge Battles x5)
  • Another Lap Won’t Hurt / Track Day (Time Attack)

Horizon Content achievements should all be completed alongside the wristband progression achievements.

  • Carkour! / Feel The Rush (Rush events)
  • Meching My Way Downtown (Showcase)
  • Ascending New Heights (Showcase)
  • Tokyo Resident (Tokyo activities)
  • Crowd Pleaser (PR Stunts)

Phase 6: Stories, Skills & Side Systems

Tackle these mid-to-late game. A lot of these are simply achieved through completing the story mode and will come through natural progression.

  • Dedicated Tourist (Story chapter stars)
  • Storyteller (81 Story stars)
  • Four Swords (LINK Skill)

Phase 7: Multiplayer & Social

This phase will be a relief for a lot of players, the core multiplayer achievements are few and far between and can either be achieved simply through playing the game consistently or chased in one session with a friend. Simple!

  • Ready to Rumble (10 Horizon Play levels)
  • Parking All Over The World (Car Meets)
  • What Are You Doing In My Estate? (Visit Another Player)

Phase 8: Stamps & Completionist Achievements

The penultimate phase of this achievement guide focuses on longer-term goals. All of these include driving around a lot and going into your sessions with these specific achievements in mind to make sure you tick them all off before heading into the final cleanup phase.

  • Stamping Ground → Master Explorer (all stamps)
  • Seeing the Sights / Travelling All Around
  • Making Your Own Path / What An Adventure!

Phase 9: Final Grind & 100% Completion

For the final phase, you can finish off the long-haul achievements. You will have been chipping away at these slowly over the past eight steps, so now is the time to finish them off. The hardest is looking like the 'Gotta Smash 'em All' achievement, with the locations of the 200 mascots not currently known or mapped anywhere pre-release.

  • Maxed Out (Horizon Play level 100)
  • Gotta Smash 'em All (200 mascots)
  • A Few Splinters Is Nothing! (200 boards)
  • Played-List (complete Festival Playlist)
  • Historic Effort (Series reward)

Note: Some of the achievements appear in multiple sections. This is because you could technically pursue them in both phases, so the choice is yours!
