Formula Legends - Historic Track Pack Arriving June 25th, First Track Revealed

The acclaimed arcade racer by 3DClouds has revealed the first track arriving in the Historic Track Pack releasing later this month, with it being clearly inspired by a certain track near the eponymous region of Italy.

Before June is up, the next DLC for Formula Legends is set to release and it is set to feature multiple tracks. With each track set to be revealed one at a time, and the first has just been unveiled; San Marino Modern. Looking at the reveal video, it is clear that it takes a lot of inspiration from Imola, predictably since it hosted the San Marino GP.

The first corner is somewhat reminiscent of the Variante Tamburello, but from then on the next corner seems to be an inverted Acque Minerali. Back to familiarity as the section that includes Variante Villeneuve and Tosa corners follows, before leading into a string of esses that do not seem to bear a resemblance to anything from Imola.

Next up is what is unmistakably the corner commonly known as Variante Alta, although in the real world it was renamed Gresini back in 2021. Then to complete the lap, a section loosely resembling the first part of Rivazza albeit without the elevation change, and a slow meandering chicane on the run up to the finishing line.

No doubt will there be more reveals as the release window comes up, with up to two additional pieces of content set to arrive in this pack. Judging by the fact that the track is called San Marino Modern, perhaps one of the other tracks getting added will be a San Marino Historic with no major chicanes? Considering it is called the Historic Track Pack and the first one is called 'Modern', it would be perhaps a safe assumption,

The game's roadmap currently has an update set for July to allow for wheel support on the console versions, and then following that will be the open beta for online multiplayer, though no official dates are provided for any of this just yet but the Historic Track Pack will be arriving on June 25th.
