Finding All 9 Treasure Cars In Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 introduces Treasure Cars as new collectibles. Here is how and where to find all nine!

Barn finds have been a staple of the Forza Horizon series since the very first game, but in Forza Horizon 6, Playground Games debuts another type of collectible cars: Nine Treasure Cars are hidden around the map, and you only get a small photo to give you a clue where exactly to look.

Unlike Barn Finds, which have the approximate area in which to find them marked on the map once you get clued in on them, Treasure Cars are left for the players to find themselves. While this is not particularly difficult in most cases, it is an interesting addition that encourages exploring and gets a bunch of nice cars in the garage at no cost.

To help you find them all, here's our guide to all Forza Horizon 6 treasure cars. Click on the images to enlarge them for a better look!

1 - 1969 Dodge Charger R/T

A quintessential muscle car, the '69 Charger R/T is the introduction to the Treasure Car mechanic. You'll get the clue about the car early on in the game, and it is fairly easy to find, too. Located close to the Airfield Trail event in a relatively central part of the map, it is parked behind a convenience store.

2 - 1991 Nissan Figaro

Another clue that you get early on focuses on a 1991 Nissan Figaro, which is parked in Tokyo. The clue clearly shows the Rainbow Bridge in the background, so scanning the parking lots next to the road running along the coastline makes it a straight-forward car to find.

3 - 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo

After the first two cars, the order of cars that you receive clues for will probably vary - if you set out to explore the map before tackling more events, you might stumble upon different cars first.

Anyway, number 3 on our list is the Nissan Safari from 1985, this 4WD offroad machine can fittingly be found by driving up a gravel path close to the bay in the northeast of the map. You'll find it more or less automatically if you follow the road.

4 - 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

Same year, different car: The fourth entry on our list is the 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE, which is also not very difficult to find. In the central part of the map, there are two large red metal towers and a smaller grey one that look like they're used to broadcast phone signals, and in between those, there is a house. The Mazda is parked next to the smaller of the three towers. There is also a mascot there that is marked on the map, so finding the spot will not be too complicated.

5 - 2005 Ford GT

The clue for this 2005 Ford GT is a bit more cryptic, only showing a view of the Tokyo Docks and Daikoku. That means it must be somewhere close to the coastline in the southernmost part of the map. Following a small path that isn't even on the map leads you to the car, which is parked in what looks like a gravel parking lot overlooking the sea.

6 - 1995 Mitsubishi Evo III GSR

To find the Evo III, you'll have to take the scenic route, so to speak. The car is located in the Takashiro region, next to a river complete with a waterfall, which hides a breakable XP board. Smash that, then turn around and drive up the path with the river to your left, until you find the Mitsubishi parked to your left as well.

7 - 1987 Porsche 959

Another legendary car hides in the Shimanoyama Region: Like the Charger, the 1987 Porsche 959 is parked at a convenience store, this time in the little town of Narai-Juku in the westernmost part of the map. Once you found the store's parking lot, it's hard to miss the Porsche, as it is simply parked under the neon lights of the building.

8 - 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale

A rally legend takes #8 on our list, and it is located in an appropriate spot: The clue mentions that it is close to a ski resort, and it is the one right next to the ice tunnel. Look to the right after passing through the tunnel, find the building close to the lift at the mountain range, and the three-time World Rally Championship winner is parked in the snow right in between those two buildings. Another XP board that is marked on the map makes the location even easier to find.

9 - 1981 BMW M1

BMW's first mid-engined sportscar is another icon that someone has abandoned on FH6's map. It can be found in the Hokobu Region, with the clue mentioning that it's parked underneath a railway bridge. Because that bridge is quite prominent in the area, just follow it while driving through the fields until you see a small construction site under the bridge, which is where the M1 is waiting for you.
