The 2026 season paid DLC expansion to F1 25 now has a release date, along with a video showcasing all of the features within this pack, featuring the new drivers, teams and circuit.
The 2026 season content is heading to F1 25 as of June 3rd, the date having just been officially confirmed. As one can predict, it will feature the updated driver line-up like Arvid Lindblad making his F1 debut this season with Racing Bulls in place of Red Bull bound Isack Hadjar. Plus with the Audi takeover of Sauber and the debut of Cadillac with drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez.
Not to forget the obvious, the divisive 2026 regulations featuring a rough split of power between the ICE and hybrid unit that has changed the way the drivers have had to be racing each other as a result of the dramatic speed changes. Then of course finally, the brand new Madring circuit.
This includes the active aerodynamics the 2026 class of cars bring to the tracks, as well as the Overtake Mode that gives a 500-horsepower boost when activated.
Limitations With 2026 Content
The question on many people's minds when it comes to the driver or custom team career modes is if pre-existing career modes can be carried over into the 2026 content or not, and the answer to that is no. 2026 career modes will all be separate to that of the 2025 saves, plus it will not be possible to run career modes with the Konnersport or APXGP teams from the F1 game's Braking Point story modes or the F1 movie.
Additionally, which may come as a bit more of a sore point, it will only be possible to drive the new Madring track with the 2026 cars. which does seem like an unnecessary limitation. After all, in F1 2013 players could drive the modern cars at 80s and 90s versions of Brands Hatch, Estoril and Jerez.
There are no mentions of the Formula 2 content but in past games, any track on the game was possible to be raced with those cars - even ones not on the F2 schedule - so we can assume it will remain that way.
There will be a video out on May 26th going into a deep dive on all features available in the DLC. We will have an article on that once it is live, and it is now possible to wishlist the 2026 Season Pack on Steam, the EA App and Xbox Store now ahead of its June 3rd release date.
